What happens if Yundera's servers go down?
Your apps and data are safe. They live on your PCS, not on Yundera's servers.
What continues to work
- All apps keep running on your PCS
- Local network access (same Wi-Fi/LAN) works normally
- Data remains intact and accessible
What would be temporarily affected
- nsl.sh domains — external access via
appname-you.nsl.shwould be unavailable - WireGuard tunnel — if your PCS is behind CGNAT, external access through the tunnel would stop
What still works for external access
- sslip.io addresses — if your PCS has a public IP,
appname-x-x-x-x.sslip.iostill works (no dependency on Yundera) - Custom domains with direct A record — bypasses Yundera entirely
Key takeaway
Yundera is a convenience layer for reachability. Your data and apps are always yours, always local.
